Glimpses in Time:
International Juried Photography Exhibition in Honor of James Van Der Zee

[URL="http://www.wirtzgallery.com/main.html"]About the Juror: Steven Wirtz, owner of the prestigious Steven Wirtz Gallery (San Francisco, California), will be the sole juror. The Steven Wirtz Gallery has been open since 1972 and is among the most established galleries in California with a strong focus on photography.

OPEN CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS!
Photographers working in all styles and mediums are invited to enter up to
two (2) of their photographic images for the international juried photography
exhibition: Glimpses in Time. The top award recipient will receive a solo
exhibition at the Joyce Jordon Gallery.

This year’s exhibit pays tribute to the life and art of James Van Der Zee, an
American born photographer, who captured the most comprehensive
documentation of the Harlem Renaissance. His experimentation with
double exposures and retouching negatives allowed him to articulate the
persona of a period in time that influenced generations of artists across the
globe.
