Good day to all, my name is David. I am new here and looking to get into LF photography. I have a few questions coming so I'll find the appropriate section to aske them in. I shoot mainly 35mm and digital but I want to challenge myself and step up to the LF realm.

Thank you for the welcome John. I've been to Lemoore twice so far. It is an interesting area. It is much like Fallon, very flat.

I am at NAS Fallon. I transferred here in 2006 from Italy. I am looking to go back to Italy again.

I live in Reno, but am in Fallon almost every week. If you want to grab a coffee and talk about large format, I am up for that. Jive-n-Java is a pretty cool place to meet.

There are many beautiful places to photograph within a few hours of us in every direction. I am sure some members here can chime in with suggestions.

Thank you all again for the warm reception. It is a pleasure to be here. Hopefully I can piece-meal an LF camera within a few weeks and start shooting and ask more questions about what I am doing. Claude, I'd love to be able to meet with you when you are out this way in Fallon. My days are limited b/c of work but evenings and weekends are good. Next weekend I'll be busy. My fiance is in town and we'll be taking care of things then. The middle of March would be a great time though if you are free.
