Sirs,
My dad invented the Kamm enlarger.
I am researching family history. Would like information on this and anyone who has used this enlarger. Many thanks

That's a new one on me. Are you sure this was actually produced and sold? I ask because many inventions never see production beyond a prototype. Often, they don't get that far or the patent rights are sold to a company that may or may not ever use them under any name.
Looks like this guy may have one.

Has anyone any information about the KAMM enlarger. Things like year of manufacture country of origin, opinions. I have just managed to by one with a devere 108s head, picking it up the weekend. I have trawled the web and cannot find any info on it
Thanks

I have a kamm enlarger. In the sixties this was the best 10x8 enlarger you could get in the UK. It was a professional piece of equipment used by printers and retouchers.
I am a photographer not a printer, so I never used it on a day to day basis, but there are several people I know in the UK who did.
I remember using Kamm enlargers in the early 80's when I was a student. 10 x 8 floor standing, built like a brick outhouse. My memory is fading, but I seem to recall both cold cathode and condensor heads on them.
Re Kamm enlarger what do you want to know, what a man !
Regards Ian.
