    6 1/2 x 8 1/2 Eastman No. 2, 240mm Apo-Sironar-S, Bergger BPF200, 6 seconds at f/64, V700 scan

I've been playing with some scans of older negatives this evening. This one dates back to 2001, relatively early in my LF days. Back then I was in the habit of heading out fairly regularly to nearby conservation lands, walking the trails into the middle of the trees and making lots of exposures of tangled stuff just to see how the pictures would come out. Have to find the time and energy to do that again sometime.

Robert, the light is inviting; the sense of space is intimate.

Yannick, really excellent composition. It is a nice portrait of forest elements. Sehr schöne Aufnahme!

Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains - Australia

Had always wanted to try and catch a tree leaning up against a rock surface, and happen to notice this on my way out.
Did not have the strongest reflected light, and the image is somewhat cool but I think it suits the scene.
