I like that a lot, Corran. It has a wonderful sense of depth.

That's a cracker, Bryan. As I scrolled down on my laptop at first I thought the perspective was looking straight up. It has a cool surreal feel to it.

Saw the image on my phone originally and thought the same thing. If you hadn't posted this, I may have never realized what I was really looking at. What an awesome image! Really like it Bryan.

Thanks to you both! I see that now, though I didn't think of it myself (of course, having been there!).

Interestingly, I scanned a "duplicate" image last night, but a fellow paddler had just passed. This disruption of the water flow makes the entire lower half of the image a blurry mess instead of the glass-like reflection. I'm glad I shot both, I much prefer the reflection present in the one I posted. Another negative on the "need to print this in the darkroom" pile...

Would love to see how your print comes out. I am new to printing and just getting comfortable with split grade printing which I think will work really nice for this image. I suggest that you sort it with "need to print this BIG in the darkroom" pile.

I've got a few more sheets of 20x24...perhaps just enough to get a good print. I'll use split filtering for burning the highlights probably.
