Atop Clingmans Dome, Smokey Mtns Natl Park. The trees shown are dead from a beetle infestation, makes an interesting contrast with the live foliage around them.
Beautiful, Dan. The colours are so textural they create the effect that people who like monotone find in tone. In a forum full of exceptional images this is certainly up there with the most impressive. I hover between respect and envy.
