Thanks!
Preston, just got back from the valley. One day trip. Only shot digital but I wish I had the 8x10 as Tunnel view was doing the Clearing Winter Storm thing! Snow, hail and sun. It was incredible. I saw the trees!! Love them. I'm going to continue the work on my Black Oak series first of the year.

That's a hard-working tree trying to survive in the city!
Here's a Cottonwood from my trip to Canyon del Muerto last fall. First print on Oriental with a new-to-me Zone VI enlarger. It would probably look better on Ilford Multigrade. Was just testing a 10-sheet pack of 20X24 Oriental. The black crack is going to grow and deepen when I start spotting. Great old trees in there. I don't know why the rocks are stacked up.
As its distorted shape testifies, this tree gets a lot of winter abuse.
But Limber Pines ♥ it, and beg or more.
