Thomas, that's a nice photo, but you'll have to see for yourself what you like Art 300 for. I prefer it for less detailed subjects as it is uniquely textured. A normal doubleweight fiber based paper might show off the dark tones of the branches a little more.

I really like this image, especially because I can't tell for certain if the shadow is on the side of a building or the sidewalk. The line on the right side being perfectly vertical toys with the perspective. I can look at this photo for a long time.

A mix of typical trees in the Pacific NW where I love to get lost.

    Firs, Hemlock, Larches...

Cascade Mountains, 5,000 feet, Washington state.

That nicely conveys the feel of the northwest, or at least the part I often travel in. Nice image, Heroique.

Thanks H2oman, yes, I can imagine it reminds you of the Oregon Cascades too.

This lake is silent by day, noisy at night w/ animals thirsty for a sip – blacktail, marten, bobcat, cougar, bear, porcupine, etc.

    Thanks Jonathan
I can't take all the credit, we were driving by and my wife spotted it first.
I used a little bit of swing and tilt to get it all in focus and straight as I could.

Here's my reference shot, I've started keeping a detailed log of each shot.
Which recently paid off because a couple of shots were really way over exposed.
After reading my notes, bingo! I knew where I went wrong.

My wife has pointed me toward many a photo, so I know what you mean. I hadn't thought to keep a digital record of my camera set-ups. That would save a lot of note-taking about camera, lens used, etc. Right now I have a haphazard collection of notes in a little notebook, but half the time I can't remember which shot was which when I bracket even with notes.

Here is one I took this winter after several inches of overnight snow in Yosemite. I call it "Snow Covered Oak." I was able to get this just minutes before the sun hit it and melted all the snow off of the branches. Take with an Ebony 8x10 with a Nikkor 450 using Provia. Jim
