Thank you! That was taken in about 1989, my main rig at the time was an MPP 4x5 and a Fuji 150mm/5.6. The film was Kodak High Speed Infrared.

Oh, I just plonked it down and focused it. There is nowhere else to put the frames without cutting a tree up. The light was very good and the air still. Best time of the year in Southland, autumn.

Thats a big old blue gum that died in the big freeze about 14 years ago. Its ugly friend is still standing nearby but I have not worked out how to make it look inspiring yet. Probably planted when the land was first settled by european farmers.
