    The decadent Monterey cypress forest at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, CA. I know some other forum members hang out there.

    Bill, that's a fantastic composition. Really nice tonality too.

    Harley Goldman: "Mojave desert"... contrasts on a number of levels: form & textural: [wiry branches vs clouds and grass; tonal, thematic, one of the best I've seen in a while; very fine work
    mat4226: "tree roots"... interesting unconventional 'pose', lovely contrast
    Bill Poole: "Monterey cypress forest"... nice work in a challenging locale...

    @Jim Cole - thanks for the kind words!
    @altcruiser - thanks!
    @dasBlute - thanks and I LOVE that new image! Soft, separated highlights (the hallmark of Pyrocat HD) and the hint of a half-moon adds a nice touch. ^__^

    Wow Bill that is great. I would walk right by that because I wouldn't know how to tame it!

    Thanks, Vinny. Thanks also to David, dasBlute, and Zaitz. Just after photographing the cypresses on 4X5 Efke, I made an exposure on 5X7 Tri-X. Think I may like the Efke one better.

    Thanks again for the kind comments.
