Good job, Jim.
Hi at all.

Beautiful work Jim! I was just visiting that area over the long weekend (stayed at the Mill Creek campground just up the road from this trail) for the first time - stunning, but I didn't have any idea how to photograph it. Yet looking at your photograph captures it so well. It's a fantastic example of 'seeing' the scene well and knowing how to capture a piece of it.
Eric - fantastic Sentinel Rock photograph as well. I have never really photographed Sentinel Rock, and this is a great perspective - I recognized it immediately without ever having seen a shot like this.
Great work!
Thanks Tyler and Jim. Sorry, I hadn't seen your post until now Jim. The photo was taken from the bridge that crosses the steam that emanates from Lower Yosemite Falls. It's just a fifteen minute flat walk from the bus stop, maybe twenty with your rig : )
I certainly know that bridge well, but I think my attention has always been focused 180° degrees the other way. It's true when they say the best thing to do at an iconic spot is turn around and look the other way.
Something for the carbon printers.
