Ah...you wanted the shifting shadows and clouds to rainbow! Now I get it!
Yeah, but the shadows shifted more than I expected and the clouds much less. I think it was 1 minute exposure at 5 minute intervals for the colors and then 15 seconds for the one without a filter which I used for luminosity. Somehow I also managed underexpose everything. Probably underestimated for reciprocity because the luminosity exposure was slightly better.
The Big Leaf Maples haven't shed their leaves yet. Taken last week in the Morrell Sanctuary. Soon the branches will be bare.....

"Approaching Winter"
In an aspen grove in central Utah, these trees had gone bare, it was cold and I could see and feel winter approaching. I hope this image conveys that feeling of winter closing in.

Here are three from my recent trip to Yosemite. I'm pleased with them all and as carbon transfer prints they sure are nice in the flesh. The first two are Black Oaks, young ones and the last is a fallen Cedar I believe.
It's a triple WOW here. They are all nice and have a very deep rich tone. Look forward to see them and please don't forget to bring them . Congrats!
