    I photographed this from inside a tree on the grounds of Glamis Castle in Scotland. You can see the branches going into and back out of the ground. I'm not sure what species it is, but it sure is huge!

    Nice one adamc, contrast is held in check really nicely. A lot of depth too.

    BTW: looking at what I can see of the trunk and leaves, it's my guess it's a horse-chestnut tree.
