Both are excellent but the first one really grabs you. The beautiful keyhole to the sky above the broken snag is so sweet.

A "friend" climbed our Walnut tree and fell out, broke a vertebrae, and sued us for $2.5 million dollars. Settled for $10K and it cost us $19K for lawyers after two years of bullshit. We had to threaten to sue our insurers to cover us and then they cancelled us after the case was resolved.

    That's America.

I never understood this type of story. If the property had some kind of hidden danger, like an open well where you could fall into, I would understand a lawsuit. But this "friend" put himself in danger by climbing the tree.

I am enjoying this one. Love the way the trees lead back to the far background trees and the broken one is an excellent point along the way. Nice tonal range as well.

There is a delicacy to how you handled this image. Under spoken and beautiful.
