This was an experiment. Aside from hoping the leaves wouldn't blur during the 8-second exposure, I wanted to see how well the small branches and leaves stood out from the boulder.

Great result. The leaves and branches stand out well, but also tie/relate visually to the rock due to the lichen which uses the same green/brown/gray scheme. Also a good mix of texture and lines.Originally Posted by Preston
