Messing around with a Gundlach Pancratic Telephoto on the Speed Graphic. I want to try it on 8x10 one of these days--it will cover--but at that magnification the lens is so slow that I'm not sure my camera can remain vibration free for that long. We'll see, I guess.

Don't know if I've done this right or not but here is one of my first scans of a 4x5 neg (just got a V700). I have read thru a bunch of posts about how to upload images and post them but it might as well be Greek. And resizing so the image would upload was real challenge, probably screwed it all up. Maybe someone could create a tutorial for idiots err illiterates I mean. I sure would like to post some of those big images like others are doing. I know it has something to do with Earl or Url however you spell it.
Trying to see if I've figured out how to post a better image in my reply.
beautiful light. 2 sheets is plenty, more is not better.

It is now right on the tail end of summer and there is a very nice transition of light as the angle of the sun is getting a bit lower in the sky each day. The sun is still quite "harsh" but certainly nothing like the height of summer. Thanks for your comment David.
