Yeah, wish I could visit again soon. Love the photos. I feel sorry for all of the photographers who avoid Yosemite because "it has all been done." Far from it, but perhaps it is best they don't drop by. It is less crowded that way.

Looks like I'll get to the Valley late on Wednesday and will have to leave sometime after the light on Sunday.
See ya at the opening!

Vaughn and everyone who is going to Yosemite for the opening on the 29th. I'll see you all there. I'm going to camp out in the valley and I'm coming up Friday morning. Can't wait to see all of this great work in person, meet everyone and spend some time at my favorite place on earth. I think you guys told me before, but where is your work going to be displayed again? Thanks,
Jim
Enjoy the waterfalls everyone, it's supposed to be great weather 36-62 deg and mostly sunny. Jim, the show is at the Yosemite Museum Gallery in Yosemite Village (near the Ansel Adams Gallery, I think).

Jon, I can't wait to get there. I'm sure I'll find all of you guys. Thanks for letting me know where it is. See you there.

Well, back again to the "real" world!
Yosemite was beautiful, the opening was fun, and congrats to Michael for his honorable mention and the use of his image on the program! His print was a beauty!
It was great to see him. It was also good to get a chance to photograph with Jim. After showing off some of my prints, we grabbed our 8x10's and hiked a couple miles and exposed some film.
The road on the north side of the Valley is closed (and will be for a long while -- culvert replacements) -- making some areas hard to access on that side without a lot of walking. The road on the south side of the Valley does not have a bunch of turnouts for parking. But still lots to see and photograph.
The snow was great to work with. It was warming up, so it is going fast -- but we'll see if any late storms roll through!

It was a real treat to get back to Yosemite. The images were fantastic and I had a great time with Vaughn and our 8x10's. Got 22 sheets to develop this weekend and some 8x20's also. Can't wait to go back.
