8x10 film scanning on V700 Epson

I have just joined the group and will spend some time this evening reading questions and comments. My question is about scanning 8x10 acetate and mostly old glass plate negatives on a flat bed scanner. I have been successful scanning 4x5 negs on my Epson 3200 and currently considering the purchase of Epson's V700 scanner which they say will scan 8x10 film. Has anyone used this scanner or might suggest a good 8x10 scanner in this $500 price range. I will be printing 24" prints on a 7600 EPSON and doing 16" prints on my 3800 Epson printer. Thanks for any suggestions/comments.

I use the V750 for 8x10 film (using an anti-newton ring glass overlay) with excellent results.

I print to an Epson 4000 and 9600.

The V700 will serve you well.
