Arkay Film Dryer Plastic bag?

I was given an Arkay Hanging Plastic Bag Film Dryer. It has a timer and heat control on top of the unit. How long does it take to dry 4x5 sheet film, I do about 6 sheets at a time? What temperature? Can I damage the film if the heat is to high, or is it idiot proof?
