Editing a post question

How can I edit a post I've made?

I did a search and checked the FAQ and the FAQ states that there is an "Edit" button with a scissors icon. However, I just don't see it anywhere.

Is the edit functionvery time limited in that the opportunity is available for let's say, less than an hour?
