It looks a lot classier than PhotoSig, but that's not hard to do. If you're looking to participate in the "permanent contest", then look at what wins and if it fits your muse, then go for it.

One thing I noticed is the "appreciated artist" list toward the bottom. It looks to be mostly Europeans, and predominantly what one could call "pictorial" in the best sense. A random sampling showed a significant crop of soft/selective-focus images -- definitely not f/64 stuff, and thankfully not an obsessive reliance on T&A, although one can never escape that cop-out. Monsieur Galli could do well here. If soft/selective-focus pictorial image making is indeed a European trend, this could bode well for all us old-lens fanatics. Indeed one could imagine that a counter-revolution is starting against f/64 similar to the f/64 counter-revolution against pictorialism. This would put all us f/2-with-a-portrait-lens geezers in the "avant-guarde" bucket. What a hoot!

One thing to note is the 'first prize' is a "Lensbaby", which looks to be a soft-focus selective blur SLR lens combination similar in effect to Petzval/Verito. Sorta of an SLR version of Holga (again in the best sense). I have to wonder if there isn't a connection.
