    GnassGear closed down?

    Hi all,

I purchased some items online from GnassGear two months ago.
My credit card was charged but I did I not receive the goods. When I emailed a few weeks ago to find out what has happened I did not receive a response. My order status up until now had been 'processing order'.

Today, I find that their operation has temporarily closed down:

Does anyone know what is happening with this company and what chance of getting my money back? Have they gone into liquidation?

I actually don't even need the items anymore (it has been that long ).

"expect to back in full operation soon."

I hope so, I rather like what I have seen of their products.

See Gnass Again... thread below. It might be the fires.

I don't think it is the fires.

I have even tried emailing again but no response. It is pretty rude not to acknowledge your customers! Needless to say I am not very happy about it!!

If they anwsered your email I believe you'd be the first. Knass is a little home operation. Try calling.

I have the same problem with Gnass and I have tried calling for several weeks now and nothing.

Has anyone else been in contact with them and know where things are?

    Many Thanks

Ask Rod @ Photomark 602.244.1133. They're always ordering from Gnass, and if something untoward happened, I'm sure he'd know about it.

In a related vein, what is a good do-it-yourself way to store lenses in one's bag, other than wraps ?

I have accumulated a number of lenses, and each is mounted on a Technika board.

Is there some kind of affordable plastic container ? I just want to avoid scratches. Perhaps I should just get some fabric and some velcro patches ?

    Ken,

I store my lenses in tupperware containers of various sizes..a little foam on the bottom and top and they float as well, just in case.
