PR for Artists

The Photographers Fanfaire is hosting a panel discussion on “PR for Artists” led by photographer Ray Bidegain of Contact Printers Guild, Steven Fey of Steven Fey photography gallery, Colin Jury of Cube Gallery and Jennifer Stoots of Stoots Fine Art Photography.
This lecture is for artists (mainly photographers) who want to do better in promoting themselves and their work. Tools and ideas that work for promoting. Is promoting and marketing one and the same or are they two different approaches?

Colin Jury is a promoter from the UK. He started the Cube Gallery with Mark Randall of Frame World in Beaverton, Oregon.
Jennifer Stoots is a private dealer and appraiser of photographs. STOOTS Fine Photography specializes in the sale of modern prints by 20th century masters and contemporary photographers, and the appraisal of fine photographs.
