I find it impossible and quite daunting to decide on an arrangement I'm happy (to critical with myself with photographing) so my solution was when the kids go to bed, and with the late evening hours of daylight to go into the neighborhood and find flower subject matter. It is a good chance to socialize in the community and catch up on the art of conversation. All of my flowers are still in the ground and black backdrop added. Available light.
    Respectfully,

    Peter.

Very nice, Peter. Just curious, what do you use to support the black backdrop on your wanderings?

    Re: Flowers Anyone?

    Thank-you bobwysiwyg,

For the backdrop I used a heavy black (dense is a better word) velvet and folding type tent poles. The tent poles were a replacement kit, complete with the thin bungee. The fiber glass poles could be cut to suit the tent pole length required and had metal points to push into the garden ground. It was cheap and could collapse quickly and into the backpack it goes.
    Respectfully,

    Peter.

Simpler than a lot of your other work, but I love it.
