I've already said I love sunflowers. Aren't the flowers wonderful? So many faces they present...

Wow! That's wonderful Jiri.
Yes, really splendid! Are your prints toned?

Thanks a lot Colin and Philippe,
Philippe, my workflow is hybrid. I scan the negatives and work on the images in computer. As one of the finishing steps I apply a tone to the grayscale file in a way that was described by Ken Lee on his website (he has since changed the suggestion how to tone the images, uses a different method, maybe even better, but I stick with the older one using Quadtones). Also I can decide how I want to tone the image, which color suits the image better.
I fear that if I only used darkroom techniques while working on the prints, the results would be nowhere as interesting (and possibly good) as what you see. My darkroom skill was not very good, and I have not done any traditional print for almost 2 years, so have possibly already forgot what few I knew
I have some more sunflowers, if you would not mind

Jiri, youv'e done it again. I am full of admiration. It's a long time since I saw such a moving image.
Well, it really must be a good image, if even the Masters (the ones I consider Masters ) stop to enjoy it.
Thanks a lot for the words, Christopher (Master of Still Life), Sad Chi (Master of Portrait) (and Colin, Master of Panoramas, and the others....)
And don't forget that I still only try to be as good as are the Masters from whom I learn... (and there is a long line of those that I did not mention above, and would not want to forget...)
Again thanks
Jiri

Scott, it's definitely not unworthy, it's beautiful. Really beautiful.
And I'm doubly happy now: not only have I made a picture not only I enjoy to look at, but that is even inspiring for others... I'm
