It's wonderful, there are 4 pictures on this page alone (so far), each of them very different, and yet, each of them is so wonderful...

And every time I get here I think of trying some flowers too - there are obviously so many ways to make interesting photos of them

These smaller white flowers were growing high-up in the NW Rockies under heavy forest canopy – near a forest service road.

Can a flower expert help me identify these?

My notes say mid-July, N. Idaho (above Kahmia), Bitterroot Range, Clearwater National Forest. This side of the trunk was facing the FS road.

Taken two days ago, developed last night.

T-Max 100, f/45 with green 58 filter. This necessitated a 30 minute exposure. I had to make sure nothing in my house moved!

This wild-flower bush was growing in the high NW Rockies, Bitterroot Mountains, Clearwater Nat’l Forest – above Kahmia, N. Idaho.

The magenta blossoms were just a few steps down the same forest service road as the tiny white blossoms I posted just above, #348. Once again, I’ll have to rely on your suggestions about what they are – I’d love to know!

Moments later, I got close with my Nikon 35mm film camera – really close. The busy bee was so drunk on pollen, he didn’t mind my more intimate working distance. (Neither did his tiny friend down there.) They seemed to be collecting less pollen dust than they were shaking onto the petals.
