I did consider using a polarizer, but decided not to because the exposure times was already to long with the belows extension and everything.
But just out of curiosity, wich glare do you talk about? My eyes aren't very well trained to filters and color correction, so any tip is appreciated.

Figured this would be easier than trying to explain. I assume a polarizer might've helped with this.

indeed the polarizer could have helped in those spots.
I also should have stopped down the lens a bit more, but was trying to keep the expose time down.

Shot some orchids recently. The first one is Fuji Provia 100F and the other is Ilford Delta 100. Both 4x5 with Rodenstock 150mm f/5.6 Sironar N

What scanner did you use here for both shots?

Nice, Ken. I have some shots with about ten flowers like this and I need to burn them all in to give them more exposure. Any thoughts on how to do that? I guess I could cut out a mask from another print.

That sounds right. Or use a large card with a small hole, and burn in each flower separately.

What scanner did you use here for both shots?

I use an Epson v500. It's not made for large format, so a I have to scan in two parts and stitch them in photoshop
