It's hard to work outdoors when the light is ideal, because at beginning or end of day the wind begins to move as the temperature starts to change.

The wind starts automatically, whenever it's time to make a photo

Liquid Artist, welcome and great start! I'm a novice as well, and have found that flowers can be a good way to start off in LF (they sit still and take direction well)..

Here's one from a bouquet a friend brought over to our house. (Acros 100 in HP5+ | 210mm APO Symmar)

Since this appears to be the germinating end of a grass stalk, I'm calling it a 'flower' for the purpose of posting it here. Categories? I hate categories.

No questioning this one's floral credentials, however.

Wow, that lens gives it a great look. Not too soft, but nice and creamy.

I really like this series of lenses from Bausch & Lomb. They are "modern" projection Petzvals (the one I have is even coated). The only real downside is they have no irises so you have to shoot them wide open, but the upside is they usually sell for a lot less than their more coveted 19th century cousins.

Tiny, tiny flower. Acros 100 in DD-X (1:9) for 15 minutes.
