    Very strong. You get quite good edge sharpness from that Petzval it seems, or is the IC enormous?

    The image circle of that lens is around 8" at infinity. However, this photo was taken with the lens focused 38 cm from the film plane, and at that distance (more than double the focal length) I am only using a small part of the center of the image circle which is the sharp part, of course. That's why there is so little falloff and a high degree of edge sharpness.
