    Simply delightful!
I'd like a print of this!

Flower tests from the lens I bought from Mr. Galli a while back.
It took me a while but I finally figured a way to connect it to a betax shutter.

4x5, cooke 3.5, delta 100, rechargeable LED light (walmart)
The last two images are of the lens as bought and after I attached it to the shutter and lens board.

Those are great. They look underwater almost. Very dreamy.

    Re: Flowers Anyone?

I found an old 3 ˝” Packard shutter to allow using my larger “vintage” lens. After days of work I had the shutter repaired and mounted in a behind the lens box, ready to use. This was attached to my Kodak full plate camera, and then a Sutter #4 Aplanat F5 (I think) was attached to the shutter box, ready to test.

Shot number 1, of my wife’s orchid, is a full plate black and white made with the lens wide open. The film was Kodak Plus X and light from an older Nikon SB-24 flash, against a black background. The location was our small sunroom.
Shot number 2 is the same set up, nothing changed except a 4x5 reducing back I made for the Kodak from a Deardoff back. Plus the film was expired E-100 positive film processed in C-41chemicals, at F16, with a waterhouse stop.
Shot number 3, as #2 set up, except with a 6x7 roll film back holding Kodak Ektar 100 film.
The camera, lens or focus was not changed.
I was surprised that everything worked, and the sharpness of the Sutter lens.

Thanks! I bought a ND filter Saturday and made an attachment ring. I want to take it out in some bright daylight
