Phew, I remembered how to make a picture. Here's $20 worth of orchids on TMY-2.

Well now they are worth a whole lot more!
Nice capture.

Jim,
Creamy smoothness! Just beautiful. What was the light source?
Jonathan
rpalm,
Thanks for the kind words. Maybe I can get my 20 bucks back someday.
Jonathan,
Thank you as well. Light source was a window behind my right shoulder on an overcast day. I used an umbrella to block the light hitting the background on a diagonal thru the composition.

Jim,
Ahh, window light. I just picked up a book today on the Dutch masters. They knew how to turn window light into magic, as do you apparently. Again, well done.

Wow Jim that is excellent. I had two Orchids and couldn't get a dang thing out of them.

Here is a shot done with my Edioscop 275mm shot at about F-11. 8x10 Carbon transfer print.
Jim, thanks. I shot this on x-ray film in the studio with a Fresnel. I'm glad you like it. Nothing like seeing the original. Love to see your work as well. The orchids are next!!
