No digital trickery here, just a bleached Fuji FP-100c negative and some contrast adjustment.

    Ramiro,

There are many videos and tutorials on the Web. Here are two decent write-ups:

    http://moominsean.blogspot.com/2010/...tant-negs.html

    http://new55project.blogspot.com/201...post_6525.html

Some people prefer to do it free-hand, brushing the bleach on the back of the negative to remove the backing while holding the negative in hand, but I tape mine to a piece of glass. Fairly easy, although a bit messy. Worth trying. I used to throw the negative side of my Fuji peel-apart films away but now I bleach them to see what I'll get. Not every negative looks good bleached, but some look rather nice, usually with artifacts from the bleaching process.

Thanks! I didn't realize it was the negative side that was bleached. Very nice, I will try it.

today's result -- one out of 6 that worked.
I tried out a Heliar 300mm. It's not supposed to be a razor sharp lens, even though it can be.
More for a selective focus effect. Difficult to pick out what should be in and what should be out...

In my very subjective opinion a 21cm Heliar is sharper than a 210mm Sironar S at wide apertures such as f5.6. Here is a Sironar S at f16 though.
