    problem with cs2 in a mac

    I was missing some commands in PS CS2 and after consulting the Adobe site I attempted to reinsall photoshop. Now the program will install but will not boot up. I am not very adept at the Mac....could anyone give me some HELP

    I have had my shot of bushmill's...will it be better in the morning?

    Last time this happened to me (with Elements) I had to delete the preferences.

    I'm can't remember exactly what I did, but a quick search (e.g. "delete photoshop preferences") should bring up some hints on exactly which things need deleting.

    I had a similar problem and to solve it I had to create a new user account and load it up there. It was a bit of a pain as I had to transfer all my pictures over to the new account, which you can do by dropping them into the hard drive, you can get access to that from your new account.
