Difference Btn TMax and TMax RS Developer

    Hi all,

Would greatly appreciate an explanation of why TMax developer for roll film is not recommended for sheet film. In other words, other than the ability to replenish why the TMax RS for the sheet film?

Does this restriction carry over to other developers as well?

    Thanks,

    Thomas

There were documented occurences of dichoric fog when you used Tmx developer with sheet film, so they developed the Tmx RS for sheet film. It does not seem to occur very often and you will probably be safe using it with sheet film. On the other hand, if it is an important shot, I would rather be safe than sorry and use the RS version.
