    Algonquin Park Colours on now

A friend just returned from a chopper trip over Algonquin Park, Ontario. He works at the paper up there.

Anyway according to him the leaves are in all their glorry right now.

Just thought you might want to know.

Yepper, just got back and I'd say it's at least 80% if not more. Colours are better than I've seen in recent years. More reds this year. Weather was great, mid 20's (hi 70's in f). Terrific camping weather.

The colors are indeed getting there in this neck of the woods but for some reason, I just can't get my head around the words "chopper" and "Algonquin Park" in the same sentence !

Going up to the Meaford area for a week over Thanksgiving. Looking forward to seeing the colours and exposing a few rolls of film.

Meaford should be quite good by then. Here in the London - St. Thomas area, a 3 hour drive south, some trees are already turning red. One reason I set the Port Stanley LF get together for Oct 13th.

Just stay out of the tank range or you might see more red than you ever wanted too.

Laura and I have the 13th marked for Port Stanley, we are hoping to attend your event barring any lab related rushes.
I will need to walk off the good food from our trip to Meaford.
