As to gallery - one of my submissions is a Polaroid emulsion lift, and thus irreproducible. The original belongs to my wife, the subject's mother.

Why not send a copy of our up and coming Lulu.com book to a few high-end publishers, such as Aperture. Then see if they'd be interested in doing a similar type book of quality. In other words, why should we pay the bill, when it is possible that someone else might be willing to. Personally, I'd rather have a book of photos done by an assortment of photographers (especially LFers) than a book by one person.
Also, I think the logistics of sending copies to 80 or so different people might be a nightmare.
