    Making a list!

I'm gathering names and contact information of film labs that are still in business, plan to stay in business, still process E-6, C-41 and Black and White films. Can you help me?
I need names, contact information and who to talk to. I will share this once I get all that I can get.

    J. W. Photo Labs in Raleigh NC still offers two hour service (more or less) for C41, E6, and B&W (D76 I think). I use them for all my color work. They handle formats at least up to 8x10, IIRC up to 20x24 (call to be sure), and "odd" formats like 4x10. All dip-'n-dunk, and they do a pretty good job of keeping the clips out of the image area. They also do B&W and color darkroom printing (IIRC their biggest enlarger is 8x10), as well as scanning and Lightjet printing.

I don't work for them or have any financial arrangement with them other than giving them money to process my 5x4 color negatives, so for other things it only makes sense to check with them for pricing and availability.

MV Labs in New York does B&W and will likely continue to do so for some years.

DR5 in Denver is the other one that comes to mind. Also specialists in B&W film development. http://www.dr5.com/

    Hi Robert,

    Here's one for you...

    http://www.gkingphoto.com/

They specialize in high-end B&W film testing (Zone System oriented) and printing (specifically, for exhibitions.)

They do fabulous work and... at Canadian dollar prices!

Secondly, they'll be looking to set up in Seattle for folks wanting a high-end lab but not wanting to deal with the border issues.

    Cheers
    Life in the fast lane!
