Time for me to weigh in on my own stuff. After a couple of days letting them grow on me, I have to say the one done with the Hyperion lights up a room. I like them all but I believe that one is my favorite.
BTW, thanks all for the comments

from reading your posts, I consistantly like the look of the Aviar(s) you use. I might have to try and find one.

I'm really caught between the Verito and the Hyperion, Jim, though they all have something to offer. I always smile when I see you've put something new like this on your pages...
Of all the workshops and get-togethers offered, I've never seen one on soft focus and "classic" lenses. It would be wonderful to have a get-together of some sort where a bunch of vintage lenses came together (with a bunch of vintage photographers, I suppose...)
"I love my Verito lens, but I always have to sharpen everything in Photoshop..."
I don't know if I have any favorite - they're all great, and all different!
I've got to get around to testing some of my own old lenses - as opposed to just using them. I'm sure I have enough "weird old softies" around 200mm to make it worth while. Like the Voigtländer W.Z. 180mm, and the Rodenstock Hemi-Anastigmat 270mm, and...
Must start trying out old lenses...
I love these tests you do Jim. I for one had no idea there was so much aesthetic variety in these old beauties. Thanks.
Thanks,
Kirk

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep"
Just simply wonderful Jim and many thanks!
The Verito and the Hyperion are my favorites.
