Beseler 45M ?

Hi All, so I have this Beseler 45M with condensor head. I take the head apart to clean the consendors, and I find, what looks to me, a piece of green tinted gla ss, like window glass. It looks to me like someone cut a piece of window glass a nd laid it on top of the top condensor. I assume this head only came with the tw o condensors in it? Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

In fact it is a heat absorbing glass - standard for the Beseler 45 condenser set.
