    13x18 vs 5x7

Someone knows if it's possible to use 5x7 film sheets on a 13x18 film holders?
    Thanks!

No. The film will fall out of the grooves, or at the very least will not be held flat.

    13x18 cm. = 5.118x 7.087 in.

seems like you could use ATG tape...but probably only if you were willing to permanently convert certain holders to 5x7

But we can use both film holders (13x18 and 5x7) on a Super Technika V 5x7, right?
    Thanks again!

Yes, you can use both 5x7 and 13x18 holders. Same outer dimensions for both types of filmholders.

Funny thing is that if you measure a sheet of 13x118cm film you will find it to be almost exactly 5" x 7" - or 127 x 178mm.

That's because the sizes were cemented way back when glass plates were the standard, and the newfangled floppy things needed to be put in thing steel sheaths to be held flat in the plate holders. That again made it necessary to make the films smidgeon smaller than the plates, so that the sheath holding the film could fit in the plate holder.

The result is that a 5x7" sheet will often fall out of a 13x18 holder, and a 13x18 film will usually bow in a 5x7" holder. But there is a slight chance that with tolerances being what they are, it could actually work. I don't recommend it though, I have had several bad experiences with that!
