Stand ideas/images for 11x14 studio DD?

Taking the big guy on the (local) road. Probably won't need more than 36-40" bellows ext. for what I'm doing. Saw a doable stand in one of these forums for sale- but it was dated 2003 and the poster didn't reply to requests. Ready and willing to build my own but would like some visuals of stands to start. Historic DD site showed some 850lb. steel behemoth- obviously not practical... thanks

I would start with a QuikSet cine tripod like this one. Build an aluminum table with some raised areas that match the camera bed to keep it from moving on the table. The table could be designed with the tripod's quick release dovetail. That way you would be building a stable level platform before the camera ever comes out of the vehicle.
