    You don't have to like someones work to respect it or understand its importance to the history or evolution of the medium. Good curators understand the difference between like and respect.

    I don't mean to put down the work of Shore and Eggleston, I actually like most of Shore's pictures with people in them, and I realize the importance of Eggleston's work. I have read Shore's book and learned from it. I guess I just don't get into some of the street pictures. By the way I enjoyed you work, especially the "Wilderness" Series much more. They seem to be more about "place" as well as texture and composition.
