new to lf

i would like to start taking LF 4x5 pictures. i will be using a used tachihara with a 90 mm lens. my question is , " is there a lab close to michigan i can send the negatives to? i would like to do both b&w and color. any advise out there?

Do your own black and white and send the colour out. Black and white is simple to process. Sorry, couldn't tell you where to send the colour. Have fun with LF!

You're in luck!! I'm from MI (although I live in Utah now) and there is a lab in the U.P. where I send all my 4x5 color film to. Its called AGX Imaging in Sault Ste. Marie. The guys name is Mike. He does a wonderful job. I went to school in Sault Ste. Marie so I know him personally. Send me a private message and I can give you his contact info.
