I like it a lot. Even though the structures are modern, they somehow look ancient, older than the pyramids. Is the image vertical ?

Yes, the image is vertical. It's an 8x10 contact and slightly cropped in the computer (and on the easel). Thanks Ken for commenting on it. I also feel its ancient qualities.

It's a great composition of lines (about 50 of them). There are fat lines and fine lines. And I like that not a single one of them is parallel to the frame or to each other.

Damnit! I didn't think anyone would notice!

I knew I should have swung the back a bit. I was right next to a train track and very very paranoid that a locomotive would come. Everytime I heard a hooooooonk! I nearly went right through the dark cloth!

fantastic image, no need for any perspective adjustments here, what you've got looks right and is very interesting.

I haven't seen it done this well before and given how many times it's been done that must mean this is pretty good. Transcends the stereotype.

What I like about both these pictures is that they demand my attention for more than 5 seconds, this is my litmus test for great photographs. There is a degree of complexity and refinement in the compositions that is very rare.
