Is KEH a walk-in type store? I leave Atlanta Monday afternoon for Canada.

I don't think KEH is a walk-in store, at least they didn't used to be. They used to have something on their web site or in their ads saying not to try to go there to buy equipment.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be
a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

I'd go to any drugstore and pick up a magnifying glass -- almost better than a loupe since you can angle it in the corners when using wides. I've been using one for years and secretly felt a little heathenish about it, but no more after reading that Soth sometimes uses a magnifying glass instead of a loupe too.

The alternative to a magnifying glass in a drug store is the reading magnifying glasses in frames with upgrade increments of .25 magnification up to 4X. You can't do the angle at the corners but you are hands free for focusing. Pick your priority.

On the other hand for a loupe here is Quality Camera Co.’s contact info, Jeff Wheeler, 382 Trabert Ave. Atlanta, GA 30309 tel: 404-881-8700. If he can't supply you, he probably has local knowledge. A hobby store or jeweler’s supply could also assist. Have a great trip.

I had a pair of +4 diopter glasses made at my Eye Doctor's office for about $40. I never use a focusing loupe now, well almost never!
