Hi- Will this scanner accomadate 5x7/ 13x18 cm film (negs and slides), or does there need to be a special adapter/film holder (it comes with a 4x5 film holder, but it sais it will accomadate film up to 8x10 in its description)?

It does accomodate 5x7 and 8x10, but there are no holders for those sizes. For 5x7 I made a mask from black mattboard, and tape the neg to it. With 8x10 you might get a bit of sag doing that.
