    monitor choise

New to digatal printing looking for advice on what monitor to buy.
Robert Whites sells EIZO monitors, S211 OW or would the more expensive CG 19
be a better purchase, other suggestions welcome.

Not familiar with those particular models but any Eizo monitor from the least expesive on up is an excellent choice. They are all built like tanks and all calibrate with ease and hold their calibration.

I own an Eizo CG210 and I find that it's far better for fine work than any other monitors. It's image quality is much more like that of a really good CRT than an LCD. Far better gradation, much finer pixels, top notch. But be aware you pay a serious price for these monitors.
