Anyone want a Beseler CB7 w/ Dichro COMPLETE!

I made a request about a Beseler CB7 a couple of weeks ago, and thanks for the responses.

The college I purchased it from has an identical unit for sale, complete with lenses, carriers up to 4x5, and everything. They had it listed on ebay spelled wrong. The BIN price was $600.

The problem is the shipping. This really needs to be picked up.

If anyone is interested, please contact me and I will get you the seller's phone number.

When I bought mine from them they had really underestimated the price and delivery cost, but is honoring what I paid. So I am trying to help them out by posting this.

    Thanks again!

I have been looking for a 5x7 enlarger, how can I find out about the enlarger? Where does it need to be picked up from?
Please PM me here so I can find out more information.

The enlarger is in Boca Raton Florida. Are you sure the CB7 does 5x7? I thought it went up to 4x5. I think the College is closed today, President's day, but I am attempting to call the director.

As soon as I know more, I will let you know.

    Thanks!

No it won't do 5x7 but I wonder how hard it would be to mount a cold light. 5x7 or even 8x10. The stock condensors are about 7" around so the throat opening is pretty big.

The CB7 is a 4x5 that's a bit heavier duty than the MX series (in its day). The 5x7 version of the Beseler is the MB57. It's a cold light enlarger, but they did have a 4x5 condensor assembly as well. There have been two or three MB57s pop up on eBay in the last year or so. I snagged one of them for $225.00, but the other went for over $500. Keep an eye out. They do show up. And don't fork over in excess of $100 for negative carries designed specifically for that enlarger (except of course for the 5x7 carrier). The Beseler 4x5 Negaflat works perfectly well on the MB57 for 4x5 negs and with a bit of jiggling, you can get the 2.25" Negatrans to work for 120 format film.
