    I know that Jack has tried a scanning back, but from what I read he didn't care for it much. Also, he wrote a really good article in Arizona Highways a couple of years about about sticking with film.

    Photographs 4, 12, 16, and 18 have the information, at the bottom, under a header that says "Photo Fast Facts." I'm using Safari 2.0.4 on OS X 10.4.8.

    Be prepared to see more of Jack's work in Geographic. In December 2006, I did a workshop with him, Bruce Barnbaum and Jay Dusard, fabulous experience, by the way. While we were there, he heard he got another NG assignment to photograph Indian lands, all over the country. I cannot wait to see it. He is a gentleman, a wonderful teacher and a really funny guy as well.
