    Feisol CT-3401N opinions

Reading in another thread about the Feisol CF tripods, I became interested in the 3401. The largest camera and lens I would mount would be a 5x7 Deardorff with a Symmar 210. I am 6' tall, so I would probably use the tripod extended most or all of the way, and would also have an Arca-Swiss B1 on top.

From owners, would this tripod be enough? And for comparison, I currently use a 3021, so anyone with experience with both, please share.

How long did it take to get yours?

You can read most of my comments as well as others in the recent tripod thread. A couple quick additional comments...

    - Feisol's shipping is very fast. Took me 4 days to get mine on the US West coast from Taiwan. Customer service is good as well.

    - The 3401N would be shorter (center column excluded) than your current 3021.

    - Consider the 3471, it would be taller, sturdier, and probably a better match for your 5x7 than the 3401.

I second that on the 3471. I have mine for a Sinar P married to a Canon 5D. The 5x7 being a larger camera anyway, I would think you would like the extra support.

    It tis, Frank.

The second image is my "Stereo Macro" set up. (This is really alien.)The third image is a stereo image taken with that set up. Cross your eyes slightly to see three images, then look at the center image to see the effect. It's a stamen of an African Violet. Yeah, I know it's off topic but it's cool stuff.
